Iran LNG Project:
National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) intends to construct an onshore LNG plant in southeast Iran, in the Pars Special Economic Energy Zone (PSEEZ) including two trains, each one with the annual production capacity of 5.4 million tons LNG propane,
Iran LNG project is located in the Tombak region of Iran, 50 Km northeast Asaluyeh and 15 Km southeast Kangan. The project includes two phases of study and execution. The execution phase consisting of two trains is ongoing.
The FEED of this plant was conducted by the Japanese JGC and the French Technip, while the process of revision and new edition of the design is performed by the Snamprogetti and Linde. The liquefaction technology of Iran LNG belongs to Linde.
Feed gas from the south pars gas field, with the capacity of 1910 million standard cubic feet per day is to be supplied to the 2 trains.

Feed gas for each train: Max 27 million cubic meter/day
LNG production: 5.4 million tones/year
Propane production: 0.263 million tones/year
Butane production: 0.194 million tones/year
Condensate production: 0.213 million tones/year
Sulfur production: 0.133 million tones/year
It should be noted that the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) established Iran Liquefaction Company (ILC) in 29th July 2006, with the capital of 16 Billion Rials, to execute the Iran LNG Project.
